SIZING GUIDE
Choose the right size for your wall
Print size dramatically affects how your wall feels. Here's a visual reference and our recommendations for common spaces.
Recommendations by space
Bookshelves & gallery walls
Small accent pieces — perfect for layering with other prints or filling shelf space.
Above desks, nightstands, narrow walls
Comfortable mid-size pieces that anchor a focal area without dominating the room.
Above a sofa or bed
The classic statement piece. Picks up the eye and ties the room together.
Large empty walls, lofts, foyers
Gallery-scale prints. Make a serious impression on any wall over 8 feet wide.
Hanging tips
- Eye level. Center the artwork at 57″ from the floor — gallery standard.
- Above furniture. Pick artwork that's 60–75% of the furniture's width. Hang 6–10″ above the top.
- Gallery walls. Mix sizes for visual interest. Keep 2–4″ gaps between pieces. Try our Gallery Wall Builder to plan your arrangement.
- Vertical spaces. For staircases or narrow walls, choose portrait orientations or stack pieces vertically.
- Empty wall mockup. Cut paper to size and tape it on the wall before you buy — instantly tells you what size feels right.
